  This guy essentially used eBay to sell his “service” and then stole my 128GB iPad Pro. Sent it to him to get it fixed early 12/22. Weeks after he gets it, he tells me that it isn’t the logic board, but the screen is bad and I need to pay him an extra $160 on top of the $65.27 already paid thru eBay for the screen. Weeks pass, after a lot of trying to contact him with no response, I finally ask if I need to contact eBay and he says they had to order the part. More time. He has to get a second one because the first replacement was bad. I have to confirm with eBay about the paying him directly thru PayPal because it is normally against eBay policy. They confirm because he has taken so long to reply. It takes over two months to get my iPad back and it comes back stuck in recovery mode with the screen lifting off the body to where I can stick my fingers in the guts of the iPad. I contact him. He says send it back so I do Feb. 27, 2023. He then claims that it was damaged by USPS and I have to file a damage claim with them despite HIM now having the box and my iPad. I send him multiple emails explaining that I need an image of the box WITH SHIPPING LABEL showing the damage to the box and the iPad, all of which he ignores. A couple weeks of this and I file a claim with eBay and PayPal. Shawn Tyson shortly then sends me a pissy email claiming that the box had been thrown away because they were “waiting to hear about when I had filed the claim,” that he filed a claim with USPS, and that he wasn’t going to talk to me anymore. He kept my iPad even though eBay and PayPal refunded my money. He has refused to return to me my property.
